Chocolate Green Tea Bundt Cake

First recipe posted. Got this from Kak Rima Bisous a Toi.
Why choose this? Simply because i had lots of abbandonned ingredients in my so called pantry. Bought them just following my instinct.

Actually i had lots of recipes that i have tried. Still figuring out how to upload them all. One thing for sure i have to list them all and than post them once a week i guess…

Enough said. Buttercake is my fav type of cake. Why? Easy peasy, do not need lots of utensils (easy on the dirty dishes, hub hates it, yikes…) and buttercake can fill ur tummy with just 2 slices. Calory off course… So for those of u who’s watching ur weight, better skip this type.

Chocolate Batter
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Green Tea Batter
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 tbsp green tea powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients
3 cups sugar ( i cut down 1/4 portion)
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
3 large eggs, room temperature
1 3/4 cup milk (i use buttermilk)
1 tsp vanilla essence or extract

Preheat the oven to 175C. Grease a 12 cup bundt pan and dust with cocoa powder, or flour.
Whisk together all the ingredients for the chocolate batter in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the green tea batter.
Cream the butter and sugar with the paddle attachment of a mixer. Add in the eggs, then the milk and vanilla. Mix until thoroughly combined, then separate into two bowls.
Mix the chocolate batter ingredients into one bowl of the wet ingredients, and mix the green tea batter ingredients into the other bowl of wet ingredients.
Spoon the two batters into the bundt pan, alternating batters until the pan is 3/4 full. Drag a long, thin knife through the batter to create a marbled effect.
Bake the bundt cake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Note : next time if i want to make this cake again, i will not follow this direction. Do not know what went wrong, but the wet batter curdling so bad untill i cannot divide it into two equal portion. Luckily the outcome is great. Next time will combine all ingredients, than divide it to add flavor (choco & green tea).

But the taste is alright. Suit ur breakfast with tea/coffee.
