Garlic Rice & Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

This month is going to be a hectic one. Several tasks at the office, Mas Fatih’s mini trip to Sari Roti, monthly visit to the doctor and… my birthday is coming 🙂

Still haven’t decide what to make and bring to the office for my birthday. I want it to be simple & easy to prepare, any suggestion? Or perhaps i should do pasta again like 2 years back.

Chocolate Loaf Cake

Mood : body aching all over, PMS

As you all know, there are probably hundreds of chocolate cake recipes if you google. For now I’m looking for something “lighter”. The reasons why I want to try this recipe are :
–  Chocolate agent depends solely on cocoa powder, no dark cooking chocolate involved. So I suspect it should be a light cake.
–  I’m kind of curious for the outcome because if you read the method, this cake is surely buttercake type. But looking at the amount of lessen butter used, I’m not too sure anymore.

Spicy Honey Roasted Chicken

Mood : happy

My family used to have new year’s eve bbq. We’ll have it at mom’s frontyard using large grill. Usual menu are sate ayam, grilled fish, sate udang, corn cob and es cincau  nata de coco.
This year was different, my sister was out of town for duty, same goes to her hubby. Me n hubs planned to stay home with kids, while mom and Athalla spend their time at mom’s. But on usual Sunday visit to play mini soccer with Mas Fatih, Athalla spotted a banner for New Year Giant Fireworks at our residence. He immediately requested for sleepover. Well why not.
